Workforce

Governor Kelly recently created the Office of Registered Apprenticeships, a program designed to help Kansans build their careers in critical industries.

Calling All Kansans!

Thanks to Governor Kelly’s vision, the Office of Registered Apprenticeships has already helped over 3,500 Kansans build careers in critical industries. Governor Kelly is committed to continuing this success by expanding the program’s reach and providing more resources to support Kansans as they work to achieve their goals.

With Governor Kelly’s budget increasing funding for this initiative, all Kansans, particularly veterans, people of color, and formerly incarcerated Kansans, can obtain the tools they need to join the workforce.

Building a career can be challenging, especially for those facing unique obstacles. That’s why this program is dedicated to providing the resources and support necessary for Kansans of all backgrounds to succeed. The apprenticeship programs are designed to help Kansans build the skills they need to thrive in high-demand fields.
